Guest Policies

All of our homes are privately owned and reflect the tastes of each owner. They are fully furnished; however you will need to provide your own bed linens, towels, paper products, soaps and personal items.

RESERVATIONS & DEPOSITS:

Reservations are accepted by phone and are guaranteed for 10 days, by which time we must have received your security deposit and $65 booking fee. After March 1, your reservation is guaranteed only when the security deposit and nonrefundable $65 booking fee is actually received. The balance (rent, room tax, TBID assessment, and mandatory departure cleaning fee) is due at least 90 days prior to your arrival date. After you have booked your reservation, the guest contract will be mailed or emailed to you. Please read it carefully, and sign, and return it with your deposit. If we do not receive a signed guest contract and your payment, your reservation may be cancelled. We accept personal checks, E-Checks, money orders, Visa, MasterCard and Discover. There is a $30 returned check charge. Please choose your home carefully, as changing homes after arrival is not possible.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you cancel 90 days or less prior to arrival, you will forfeit your entire rental amount but your deposit and cleaning fee will be returned. If we are able to re-book the home for the same dates, all monies paid will be returned less the $30 cancellation fee and the $65 non-refundable booking fee.

REGISTRATION

You will need to personally check-in and check-out at the Bass Lake Realty office to receive your keys and map to your vacation home. YOU MAY CHECK-IN ANY TIME AFTER 3:00 p.m. on your arrival day. For after hours check-in please call our office at 559-642-3600 before 5:00 p.m. and ask for the lock box code. You must be out of your vacation rental home and return your keys to the office by 10 a.m. on your departure day or be subject to a late checkout fee. Upon departure all doors and windows must be closed and locked.

CLEANING & DEPOSIT REFUND

Your deposit will be refunded within 21 days of departure. Any damages and the cost of any excessive cleaning required will be deducted automatically from your security deposit. The mandatory departure cleaning fee ranges from $110 to $325 depending upon the size of the home. Guests are expected to take all trash outside (ready for pickup), and wash and put away the dishes.

PETS

NO PETS ARE ALLOWED, EXCEPT IN DESIGNATED HOMES. ANY EVIDENCE OF A PET WILL RESULT IN FORFEITURE OF THE TOTAL SECURITY DEPOSIT.

If you are staying in a pet-friendly designated home we charge an additional $200 deposit for your pet. (LV237 requires an additional $500 deposit for your pet).

OCCUPANCY

Accommodation is limited to the number of persons indicated in our directory. YOU MAY NOT GO OVER THAT NUMBER AT ANY TIME. Tents, campers and motor homes are not allowed to be parked, hooked up, or used on any rental property. Violation will result in loss of the total security deposit, and you may be evicted.

TRASH

Please take trash cans to the street for pickup the night before the trash pickup days indicated on the map to your rental home. Bags of trash left outside of the cans may draw the attention of bears, raccoons and others animals. If you have excess trash, or if you fail to place the cans at the street, you will be charged $60 for a subsequent pickup.
