Summary: I cannot say enough good things about the wonderful stay I had at the Dadeland Aloft. The location was hard to beat given the convenience to South Miami, Coral Gables and Coconut Grove areas. From my initial check-in with Jean on Thursday afternoon, Aug. 13 through my checkout that Sunday, late in the morning, the entire staff was SO friendly, impeccably professional, and very helpful! I can't remember the associate's name who checked me out at the front desk on Sunday (he was tall guy with glasses), he could not have been more friendly and made me feel so warmly welcomed for the weekend. I was in MIA to attend the funeral of a lifelong and very dear friend, so the extra warmth and TLC I felt from the hotel staff was very much needed and appreciated. Also, a young man at the bar, whose name I can't remember either (I do remember that he told me he was originally from Columbia). Very nice young man ... i had cut my arm a little bit on some metal near the bar area and he was quick to get me napkins and went out of his way to go find me Band-Aids. "Well Done" to whoever hires and trains these people, my hat is off to you because I have traveled the world over and stayed in all kinds of different hotels from luxury to economy ... Well this Aloft was so very pretty, well maintained, and clean… . I would be hard-pressed to find a place where I had better service than at this hotel. Thanks everyone!
