Pour your favorite drink and relax in the striking white cabana in our manicured backyard. The white-on-black-on-white theme continues inside this chic 2nd floor home, right through to the covered front balcony.
Welcome to your private upstairs (no elevator) 2,200 square foot apartment with front balcony facing Magazine Street and a huge, private rear terrace with plenty of seating! Make yourself at home in our designer-decorated pad, fully stocked with everything you`ll need for an unforgettable getaway!
You`ll be steps away from all of the wonderful shops and restaurants along Magazine Street (some of the BEST in the city!), and about a 15-20 minute drive to the heart of the French Quarter and many other city attractions.
There is space in the gated driveway for up to two vehicles, though they`ll have to park in line, blocking one in. There is also plenty of free street parking on the blocks around the home, and metered street parking on Magazine Street Mon-Sat from 8AM-8PM (other times & Sundays are free).

Located between the Garden District and Riverside, this home features a blend of comfort and modern flair. The area is known for its wonderful atmosphere, featuring an array of locally-owned boutiques, trendy cafes, and diverse restaurants. Magazine Street is lined with beautifully preserved 19th-century architecture, including Victorian homes and Creole cottages, all under a canopy of lush oak trees, making it one of the most walkable areas in the city.
Cultural attractions like Audubon Park and Zoo are nearby, offering green spaces and recreational activities. Tulane and Loyola universities are within a few miles of the home as well. While some guests may have a car with them, there`s no shortage of options for those that want to explore the area around the home on Magazine Street on foot. The St. Charles Streetcar line is about 7 blocks from the home, and there`s several nearby bus stops as well. Additionally, there are always Ubers and Lyfts nearby for ride-sharing options since this is such a popular dining and shopping destination.
The penthouse sits above a retail space, which is currently a home decor store open during normal business hours.
There is a full flight of stairs to climb from street level to reach the penthouse on the 2nd floor, and there is no elevator. Our home is also not baby-proofed, so please use your own judgement when traveling with younger children.
New Orleans is prone to hurricanes and other storms, sometimes outside of the normal season. Please note that we do not move, cancel, or provide refunds or credits for any reason, including COVID, road conditions/closures, travel cancellations, and weather conditions. If you think you may need to cancel for any reason, we HIGHLY SUGGEST that you purchase trip insurance or book closer to your travel dates.
There is a $200 security/damage deposit collected 3 days prior to arrival, and returned shortly after your stay. This is done as a $200 hold on your method of payment, not a full charge. Please see the rental agreement (required to be read and signed before booking) for more details.
Please carefully read our house rules below
1. The booking guest must have their ID uploaded to their profile. Please do not remove your ID from your profile at any point during the booking process, or your visit. This will trigger automatic cancellation of your reservation.
2. Please be mindful of the business downstairs during normal business hours.
3. While early check-in / late checkout may be available, this must be arranged ahead of time for an extra fee. Unauthorized Late checkouts are a $50 charge for each hour after 11am - a 15 minute grace period is given. Late checkouts MUST be requested before 9PM the day before your departure.
4. Clean towels are a provided amenity, and there`s a washer and dryer in the unit if you need to refresh them during your stay.
5. Smoking & vaping in the unit will result in a $500 deodorization fee. Please smoke outside of the property.
6. Unregistered guests and parties are prohibited by local laws and ILLEGAL. Our occupancy limits are set by local ordinance. Any guest found to have had a party or over-occupancy will be charged a $1,000 fee for non-compliance with local laws. All rental platforms specifically ban parties from their units. Violation of this rule will result in immediate eviction and a ban from the platform.
7. Please do not hang or attach anything to the walls with push pins, tape, etc. or other painted surfaces.
8. Please do not use face towels to remove makeup, it damages the towels. Makeup towels are provided for you.
9. If the space is left excessively dirty, $50 will be charged for each additional hour of cleaning required. Removal of bodily fluids will result in a charge of $150. Glitter cleanup will result in a charge of $100.
10. This home does not allow pets. Unauthorized pets will result in an additional $250 fine.
11. After you’ve read these rules, please send me a message with the words “yellow kangaroo”, it will let me know that you have read the rules thoroughly.
12. Unfortunately, we cannot accept bookings from “Locals” at this time. Locals is meant to include anyone residing within 60 miles of New Orleans.
13. While we cannot receive any mail or packages to the space we will assist with getting packages shipped to New Orleans if needed.
14. Commercial video and photo shoots are strictly forbidden without prior and authorized consent. Associated day-rate fees, liability waivers and copyright contracts will apply if consent is given.
15. Message us for long term stays.
16. All of our TV`s are streaming, we do not provide any account information, you will have to log into your own. Please remember to log out at check out.
17. Should you wish to receive an early check-in or late check-out, please let us know no earlier than a few days prior to your reservation date, and we will determine if it`s possible. We are unable to confirm early check-in (or late check-out) requests for future dates. We require time to prepare the unit for your stay or after your stay for the next guest and sometimes we are unable to accommodate. If we can accommodate, we will charge $25/hour for the additional booking time. This will also be in place for dropping luggage off or leaving your luggage after checkout time has passed. Payment will be requested through the platform after your additional time has been approved.
