Common areas include a large living room, dining room, and zen courtyard with its antique aspects preserved. You will have the entire house to yourselves to relax and enjoy. Nestled on a corner lot with lush landscaping and trees and flowers. It’s perfect for the entire family.
The space
Tastefully furnished in true Arcata fashion, this 3-story home boasts a unique charm, with many of the original features and woodwork from 1889.
Enjoy a spa-like experience in your own private courtyard in the backyard. Fully fenced and well maintained with native plants and lovely foliage. Equipped with a hot tub and barbecue!
The space has high speed wi-fi and our TV offers a Firestick with access to Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+.
The renovated kitchen features a four-burner gas range and granite countertops, and is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare a large meal.

We provide personal use shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, and hair dryers too.
Our bedrooms are a generous size for a historic home. Two of our bathrooms have stand up showers, and one has a claw foot tub (no shower). The bathrooms are a traditional Victorian size (smaller than most).
Please note, your nightly fee includes a ten (10) percent Transient Occupancy Tax and a two (2) percent Humboldt County Lodging Alliance tax that we collect on behalf of the city and county.
No third-party bookings. We require those that stay to have their own profile etc. We typically can’t accommodate early check ins or late check outs. Also, booked guests are only allowed on property. If you would like to invite non-booked guests to the property, please check with hosts first. We do have exterior cameras.
No smoking permitted.
We do charge $20.00 per person/per night after 10 guests.
